Brad, you're exactly right. The radio dramas are what I'm curious about.

There is a helpful book called Public Domain on nolo press that is for those that want to use public domain material in their own creations. It is a how-to guide to figure out what is in the public domain. It might shed light on this question and what else we can freely share of our cultural heritage.
